April 12 = National Grilled Cheese Day! Grill Yours Up with a Bit of Sass + Spice!
I love the thought of a grilled cheese sandwich. I love the texture of hot melting cheese is enough to make me swoon. I have figured out every single possible way of making a grilled cheese sandwich with and without skillets. Why am I bringing this up? Today is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day!! What a great day. I should have learned about this a couple of days ago. I would have made up a series on it with a lot of variations on a theme. When I got this recipe from Busha Browne, I had to pause. Never have I come up with a recipe that sounds like this one from Busha Browne! So I am sharing it with you for all your cooking pleasure this weekend.
To celebrate, try the Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Busha Browne Hot Pepper Jelly recipe, it’s so delicious. Family or friends will enjoy this tasty recipe as it is the perfect lunch or comfort food to have come lunch time. Enjoy!
Busha Browne Hot Pepper Jelly Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients:
8 slices of bread
12 oz of cheddar cheese, sliced deli-style
3 tbs butter
6 oz of Busha Browne Hot Pepper Jelly
Preparation:
Spread the outside of the bread with butter.
Lay down layer of cheese and top with a layer of Busha Browne Hot Pepper Jelly.
Complete with a final layer of cheese and top with the bread.
Place into a large pre-heated skillet with additional butter.
Flip when golden brown and cheese has begun to melt.
Cook until both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
