Bésame Cosmetics is launching of the special edition, “Disney Snow White — The 1937 Collection.” This deluxe cosmetics collection celebrates the 80th anniversary of the 1937 release of the classic Disney animated feature film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” The collection will be available at the Bésame flagship store in Burbank, CA, online at the Bésame Cosmetics website, at the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, at Modcloth.com, at Sephora.com, and at all Box Lunch store locations, beginning in November 2017.
This hand-crafted lip, face, and eye makeup colors developed by Bésame founder Gabriela Hernandez are based on the original Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department’s cels for colors created for the film. The colors are versatile and wearable, and appear softer than the more intense pigments in later re-mastered editions of the animation. “We create real-time makeup that women can enjoy every day,” says Gabriela. “This collection is no exception. The 1937 Snow White Red lipstick flatters just about every skin tone, and other colors in the set, like Rose 300 and Cocoa 103 shadows for the eyelids, are neutrals that become an immediate go-to for a fresh, but finished look.”

For the upcoming holiday season, the Bésame flagship location in Burbank, CA will be transformed into Snow White’s enchanted cottage. To celebrate the release of the collection, the boutique will offer photo opportunities with recreations of the film’s wishing well, the poisoned apple that sent Snow White into her deep slumber, and a life-size model of Snow White herself.
