Today is December 29, 2017 and it is day 9 of the 12 Drinks of Christmas! The cocktails for today are all featuring Van Gogh vodka in different flavors.

Van Gogh Vodka:
Van Gogh’s flagship unflavored vodka was one of the first terroir-specific vodkas introduced in 2009. Third generation Master Distiller Tim Vos distills Van Gogh in small batches in Tilburg, Holland from a blend of wheat sourced from Holland, France and Germany—each providing distinct characteristics as a result of the local terroir. BTI gave Van Gogh Vodka a Gold Medal with a score of 92 points.
Van Gogh Double Espresso:
The original Double Espresso Vodka is rich, smooth and bold as your favorite cup of espresso with a hint of bitterness in the finish that adds to the complexity of this beloved spirit. The expression received 99 Points at the 2016 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate:
Enjoy a decadent chocolate experience featuring flavors from the finest cocoa. Subtle undertones of caramel and coffee offer just the right amount of bitterness for chocolate lovers. Winner of the Best Flavored Vodka in About.com’s 2013 Readers’ Choice Award.
Van Gogh Dutch Caramel:
This richly flavored spirit has heavenly caramel flavors with a touch of vanilla and chocolate to round out the palate and aromatics. The finish includes caramel and coffee while the naturally burned sugar gives the vodka its rich shade of caramel. Named Best Flavored Vodka at the 2017 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

ADULT MOCHA
Created with Van Gogh Vodka’s signature Espresso Vodka, this coffee-inspired cocktail will give you just the jolt you need. A simple cocktail to prepare, our Adult Mocha can be enjoyed casually or as a quick party cocktail.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Van Gogh Espresso Vodka
1 oz. milk
1 pinch cocoa powder
1 pinch raw sugar
Method:
Enjoy Cold:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and shake vigorously.
Pour into a rocks glass.
Garnish with raspberries.
Enjoy Hot:
Heat milk. Add all ingredients to a mug and stir.
Garnish with cocoa powder.
DOUBLE ESPRESSO MARTINI
Created with our signature Double Espresso Vodka, this coffee-inspired creation makes the perfect winter cocktail. A simple cocktail to prepare, our Double Espresso Martini can be enjoyed casually or as a quick party cocktail.
RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 oz. Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka
1 oz. coffee liqueur
1 oz. Irish cream
Method:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with three floating coffee beans.
HOLLAND-HATTAN
Created with our signature Dutch Chocolate Vodka, we’ve put our twist on one of the most popular cocktail recipes. A simple cocktail to prepare, a Holland-Hattan can be enjoyed casually or as a quick party cocktail.
RECIPE
Ingredients:
2 oz. Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka
1 oz. sweet vermouth
2 dashes angostura bitters
Method:
Shake ingredients very well with ice and strain over ice into a rocks glass.
Garnish with cherries.
The Van Gogh vodkas have incredible flavor. I was sent a sample pack to test out all the flavors and was astonished at how flavorful they were right out of the bottle… and mixing them into cocktails is simply sublime!!
