The Crossing
An interesting play of Mexican spirits and bitters, including Vallet Angostura, which is a Mexican amaro made from Angostura bark, Gustoso Charanda made from sugar cane juice from Michoacán, tequila, pineapple, lemon, orange, and kick of spice from cardamom; the flavor profile is subtly sweet, with citrus and bitter notes, and a hint of spice.

Signature Pasta: Mandilli di Seta handkerchief pasta

Since 2013, The Factory Kitchen – Downtown Los Angeles serves traditional Italian fare in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. This trattoria-style restaurant is the product of a long-standing friendship between Restaurateur Matteo Ferdinandi and Chef Angelo Auriana. After years of mutual respect between the two passionate professionals, Ferdinandi and Auriana now share the vision of imparting their Italian roots and memories through food and hospitality. In the kitchen, Chef Auriana prepares dishes such as the restaurant’s signature mandilli di seta handkerchief pasta using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The approachable menu at The Factory Kitchen highlights the simplicity of traditional local recipes. The Factory Kitchen takes its name from the street it’s located on and the complex that hosts it, but the restaurant’s soul is purely Italian. The Factory Kitchen will be opening a second location at The Venetian in Las Vegas, December 2018.
