SUPER BOWL LIII – FIRST WAVE OF SOCIAL MEDIA BRAND DATA Courtesy of Talkwalker!

Superbowl is but a week away! (*OMG.. pieces on food,  cocktails, souvenirs and fan fashion will be featured along with places you might want to visit to watch the game). However before we even dig into the essentials,  here’s the social media brand data metrics and information courtesy of TalkWalker!

When it comes to the various Super Bowl games, the mentions, counts of shares and other elements are of deep interest to brands. One of the most interesting things NOT mentioned yetare the commercials that everyone is interested in seeing. Typically I hear a lot about ads and commercials before the game. I have been seen some edits of commercials. This year seems to be very different than years past- because I have received ZERO information other than indie brands that would love to be featured since the cost of a Super Bowl LIII commercial is waaaaay beyond their reach.

As the game, which is being officially sponsored by Coke’s rival PepsiCo, will take place in Coca Cola’s headquarter city Atlanta, a Coke vs Pepsi brand war is looming but has not yet properly ignited, except some articles and Twitter comments, such as Atlanta city citizens warning SBLIII visitors how to behave:
