ELEVATION PICTURES PICKS UP WARREN PEREIRA’S ANIMAL RIGHTS DOCUMENTARY TIGER 24;
THE GOTHAM GROUP TO EXECUTIVE PRODUCE

Toronto’s Elevation Pictures will distribute in North America and The Gotham Group will executive produce filmmaker Warren Pereira’s feature documentary Tiger 24, it was announced today. Pereira directs; The Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and
Jeremy Bell executive producer alongside Eagle Egilsson, Howard Barish, Zach Mann and Stephen Nemeth.
“When a wild tiger kills men who enter his territory in Warren Pereira’s Tiger 24, he is declared a man-eater and locked up in a zoo. This galvanizes massive social uproar and activists to take their cause to the streets,
online, on billboards and all the way to the Supreme Court. Film Threat called the film “a compelling and dramatic story for animal lovers and fans of crime procedurals.”

Tiger 24 has received immense support on the festival circuit including a world premiere at Cleveland International Film Festival and awards from several others. It is a finalist at the Jackson Wild Media Awards and has two nominations at Wildscreen Festival,
where previous winners include My Octopus Teacher. Tiger 24 has begun a limited nationwide theatrical release which includes a week’s run at the Laemmle’s Monica Film Center (Los Angeles), opening September 30. Elevation will then release on all transactional
VOD platforms in North America on November 15, 2022.
Warren Pereira
Warren Pereira is a creatively driven and award-winning filmmaker whose work has garnered the industry’s top accolades, including the Cannes Gold Lion, and has been showcased at top international film festivals. Clients under Pereira’s production company
W Films include The Royal Bank of Scotland, Spectrum, Tissot, NBA, Hpnotiq, The Wall Street Journal and agencies such as DDB and CAA.
