The NARS Spring/Summer Collection is smokin! And there are other limited edition collections that are definitely worth checking out. I recently hit Sephora to check out a few things– and one of them was NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. Turns out I am the same color I was over 10 years ago– Santa Fe and I love the texture of this foundation. Perfect for summer, it’s amazing.

Well I missed the Father’s Day video post and it’s because a lot of people were doing last minute shopping for Father’s Day. REALLY they were!! Home Depot, Lowe’s, the market for beer or spirits– even stuff online from Amazon as well as department and specialty stores. Everyone had sales today.

If you have ever watched Nickolodeon, then you might be familiar with the TV show, “The Naked Brothers Band” starring Nat & Alex Wolff. Now that the show has gone dark, Nat & Alex have spent some serious time in the recording studio, putting together their album Black Sheep on which they played all the instruments and wrote all the songs. These two young men are just that– not only children of actress Polly Draper and musician/composer Michael Wolff– musicians who have chosen to leap into their musical career while still young (not even out of high school yet).

Movies Hot Off Oscar Awards Hit DVD: The Descendents, My Week with Marilyn & MORE!!
When there is little to see in the theaters — and right now I can’t be bothered to see 90% of what’s out there, the other 10% I have seen already— that’s when I quickly turn to DVD/Blu-ray for my movie fix. While I have seen some of these movies, I haven’t seen all and while it’s not the same as a theater quality experience, I also don’t have to pay for water or popcorn either or miss an important moment in a movie. (Pause is one of those things that I wish we could all do in a theater– for personal pit-stops or drink refills), So turn down the lights, make yourself some popcorn, get your favorite beverage and fire up the big screen TV & DVD player for at least one of these movies!
