It’s not everyday that someone celebrates a Sweet Sixteen birthday party– particularly when it’s a cosmetics and skincare brand. Those events come few and far between.
For FRESH, it’s NOW and it’s a great reason to throw a party– which Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg did at Barneys Beverly Hills on Thursday, Oct 4, 2007.
It was quite an extravagant party featuring Veuve Cliquot champagne flutes, chocolate dipped strawberries, and yummy cinnamon sugar dusted cookies along with the “Sweet Sixteen” cookies.
It was a packed cosmetics section that drew people in off the street to share in the merriment.
You will see me (a bit of me) right behind Alina Roytberg’s head in the group shot. I was lucky enough to score a make-up touch-up and it was great to be pampered and have my face dolled up with aster gloss and some bronze metallic shadow and that luscious SUPER NOVA Mascara!!
Three Dots Creative Director Yuchin Mao joined me at the event and she got her makeup done too.
People were lining up to sign up for the raffle of the gift “box” .
They were also “in line” for the party favors of the Sweet Sixteen Cookies and the Sugar Soaps which smelled heavenly. Even guys were pocketing these babies!
Celebrities like actress Olivia Wilde attended and Stylist (and friend) George Blodwell and his nephews showed up for a bit of the bubbly.
Cute guys, great drinks, lots of great fragrances, yummy food, what could be better than an evening celebrating and getting FRESH !
