Brooke Shields Is Red Carpet Glam Thanks to Jo Strettell and Rimmel Make-up!

Brooke Shields graced the red carpet on Emmy night with a shimmery, sophisticated, sexy makeup look created by celebrity make-up artist Jo Strettell to match her stunning fuchsia gown and gorgeous Hollywood hair.

The key to her glam’ look!? Va-va-voom lashes offset by minimal eye liner and shimmery purple eye shadow!
Jo Strettell used layers and layers of RIMMEL LONDON’s Glam’Eyes Mascara to coat Brooke’s lashes (top and bottom) and used eye liner only in between the lashes to fill in the roots for a glam’ lash appeal.
Brooke loved the effect so much that she took Glam’Eyes with her to recreate the easy glam’ look at home.

For Brooke’s eye lids, Jo used a shimmery purple shadow to accent the bright statement dress and kept her skin dewy but not-too-shiny by dusting an oil-absorbing luminescent powder foundation over a long-lasting liquid foundation.
To keep the accent on the glamorous lashes and lilac-purple eyes, Jo kept her lips nude yet alluring by using a nude beige lipstick mixed with a golden pink shimmer.

Jo’s tips:

Apply a soft pink shimmery cheek on the apple of the cheek and use a bronzer that’s only slightly darker than your face color to contour the face by dusting it along the edges of the face, chin, hair line, forehead and below the cheekbone
Add a light luminescent iridescence to the inner and outer corners of the eye for a wide awake bright eyed look

Key products to create the look for less:

Try using two shades of a naturally shimmery mineral powder - one matches your skin tone; the other is a slightly darker shade. Dust the skin tone powder all over the face and either press with sponge or hands into skin or preferably use a kabuki brush and blend it over the face. Use the darker shade as a contour around the rim of the face at the hair line and just at the lower edge of the cheek bone making sure to blend really well. (no lines permitted here!) Try Rimmel London Lasting Finish Mineral Powder Foundation which has a powder puff applicator for a smooth mess-free application.
Lilac and purple eye shadows flatter almost any eye colour! The Rimmel London Colour Rush Quad Eye Shadow in Smokey Purple features both tones of lilacs and purples. Apply these to gradually open up the eye area. Use the darkest shade to smudge the eye liner and the softest shimmery shade to highlight the inner and outer corners of eyes and the center area of the eye lid.
Don’t forget Glam’Eyes mascara, . The mascara wand is super-flexible, making it easy to catch every lash. The tip of the wand features four sides: two with longer bristles to lengthen and comb; two with short combs to add volume and thicken the lashes for a super voluminous lash look.
Check out RIMMEL LONDON’s Glam’Eyes Mascara and all the other products at CVS and Walgreens and other mass market stores. It’s definitely a great product!!
(I have Rimmel mascara- though not this one– and I love it!)
