“The Things You Think You Need” by Jay Nash is one of my favorite songs– and I was recently asked about the things I “crave” and I had to give it some thought.
There are a number of things that I crave– from the mundane to things that I really KNOW I need– not just think.
Erin Gallagher Earrings Black Sapphire Cascade earrings
Love love love these earrings!! ( found this on feteafete.com)
479 Popcorn based out of San Francisco ( woohoo.. hitting SF in Nov!!)
Can we say this calls to the junk-food side of me?
Scharffen Berger Hand Glazed Apricots
It’s dark chocolate, apricots, dark chocolate, Scharffenberger and it’s dark chocolate. I think that says it all about what I crave!
A vacation someplace– this isn’t just a crave, it’s a necessity. I got a night at the Grand Californian at Disneyland. That’s not much of a vacation. I want Hawaii– because at least it’s warm and I don’t have to pack a lot of stuff !

When I get to wherever my vacation is (could be Paris, Hawaii, Tahiti, San Francisco, –just get me out of “Dodge”), I want a facial! I need something like the product mentioned on WellAboveAverage’s post on Zia skincare!! Wow! It’s definitely a crave bordering on obsession here.
This is definitely a product/treatment I am craving!
Also one more thing that keeps coming back to me– the ViaMarisNYC.com rosary necklaces. Love these things. I am going to have to do something about buying one. It’s gorgeous, edgy and fun.
Check out viamarisnyc.com for lots of cool fashions, home furnishings and things for travel and gifts!!
Also there are a few things I crave that aren’t typical girly stuff but have more to do with work. It’s about interviewing 5 different people in person– three of whom I have interviewed before but never met, and the other one I have never met or interviewed.
Indra Nooyi, CEO, Pepsico,– for the very obvious reasons as seen in the videos I did at the Governor’s Conference for Women. She’s a very powerful speaker.
Though I saw her at the conference, I never have met her and she’s highly inspirational
Jay Nash, musician, singer, songwriter,
Inteviewed him by phone yet I have never met Jay or seen him perform. Every time he comes to town, I already am booked out. (sigh.)
Keaton Simons
I know Keaton! I have interviewed him a lot– however not since he released his CD on CBS records– (which if you haven’t heard Can You Hear Me, you need to hit it on iTunes!)
Keaton Simons!
He’s a great interview and once we start talking, we don’t shut up.
Chris Abraham
I managed to get Chris Abraham on the phone once ( after numerous emails, IMs, cross-posts) and we were talking for a long time. Part podcast/interview, part chatter, he’s an interesting man with a bead on social media and technology. We *IM* occasionally and I comment on his blogs because I give a distinct feminine perspective. He’s interesting and would make an interesting live interview.
Adam Levine
A musician I haven’t interviewed or even talked with even remotely to the Maroon 5 management but the questions I have regarding their music and how they go about creating it are significant in many ways.
Told you it was a strange mix of the things I crave. It’s about what’s happening in LA and all over the globe– fluffy girly stuff and serious stuff too.
