American Violet Hits Home on Issues in this Powerful Indie Film

The powerful and inspiring film, AMERICAN VIOLET, from Samuel Goldwyn Films is now playing in theaters. To coincide with this recent release, the Huffington Post published a thoughtful commentary that touches upon the issues this film brings to light. Written by the producer and writer of AMERICAN VIOLET, Bill Haney, “Another War America Cannot Afford”strong> opens an introspective discussion on the “War on Drugs” calling attention to the very subject behind this moving story.

American Violet is currently playing in the following locations:
New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC, Hartford and Bryan TX. On May 1st it opens in theaters in Philadelphia, Houston, Austin, San Francisco and Boston.
On May 15th it will open in Detroit.
