Signature David's Shake It Up! Blog Displays the 8th Deadly Sin Cocktail

Cocktails and spirits are one of my favorite things to do. I think it’s fun to set up the bar in my kitchen and get creative.
While speaking with David Brogan of Shake It Up by Signature David blog for a podcast that will be posted soon.
I happened to mention chocolate cocktails and how I had yet to find one or the accountrements to make one that got seriously deep into the lush chocolate flavor.
David jumped in this with his 8th Deadly Sin Cocktail which took my breath away when he ran the list of ingredients

8th Deadly Sin Cocktail– it’s rich, deep, and lusciously chocolate
According to David,

Here’s how you make it….
Combine
1 oz vodka (p.i.n.k. vodka preferred),
1/2 oz Godiva Dark Liqueur,
1/2 oz Godiva White Liqueur,
1/2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream,
1/2 oz white creme de cacao,
1/2 oz dark creme de cacao,
1/2 oz Frangelico,
1/2 oz Chambord
in a shaker full of ice and shake until frothy.
Strain into a well-chilled martini glass.
Garnish with 3 chocolate covered espresso beans.
There you have it! My ultimate chocolate martini…the “EIGHTH DEADLY SIN!”

This sounds totally amazing to me. I should invest in all these ingredients — so that I can play with the cocktail. I think I would add in a caramel slurp of something instead of the Chambord and Baileys and find a vanilla component.. maybe the Rechiutti Burnt Caramel Topping would do it.
Can you see I am already addicted to this and I haven’t even tasted this? thanks to David for the amazing recipe!

All I can say is YUM!! PS. Podcast is coming!!
