We Heart Mikimoto, Kevan Hall & Jodi Wing @ Malibu Lumber Yard Pop-up Store Party!

This is part 2 of a 2 part post (ok.. it might be 3 because I want to focus all the jewelry in another post) about the Mikimoto, Kevan Hall pop-up store in the Malibu Lumber Yard and how much fun it was to attend their soiree that really was an open door event– meaning no line to get in, no one checking your name at the door. What a breath of fresh air (hey event planners, you ought to think about that. It’s worth the time and trouble for any journo, media or blogger to get in the door if you are having an event).
While I had an invite, people who were walking through the Lumber Yard walked in too– which was totally cool. It was the best of the So. California lifestyle and that’s what Kevan Hall is– the best of California fashion in terms of his designs.

Mikimoto is an amazing brand in jewelry and while typically you might think of them as a strand of pearls, they are kicking off with a collection of contemporary jewelry that blows me –and a lot of others like Ms. Jodi Wing– away.

Quite frankly the event was a low-key but well-populated event with an ebb and flow that was lovely and had lots of people attending. (more than I can show here)
