Our blog has been dormant while we mulled the directions that we wanted to go and found someone whose life makes our personal issues pale in comparison.
You will get to know this person via the column,” A Voice from the Inside“. Each post will have a separate title and reveal more about its’ author Jeheshua. Each weekend will bring a pair of new essays. You are free to comment here. They are also posted on another site and if you want to see them there, you can (www.LA-Story.com) but we would prefer that if you have a comment, please on www.livinginaperfectworld.com
Endless Journey
In grasping at the which is new and seizing control, one becomes lost. “Life is chaos”.
Once, amongst the silence, peace was realized, but now the twisting wreckage of ceaseless trivia and trash engulfts the constant cycle of my conditioned mind. These fragrmented thoughts and feelings have fromed something that appears to exist independently of themselves– something that seems so very solid.
Much in the same way that grains of sand form a beach, or waves and tides for the ocean, “they are real.” Utterly drreamed and yet at this point, what isn’t? Amazingly , ” I” am also subject to this logic.
I am a creation, not of a higher power in the traditional sense of teh words, but as a sum total of all parts rendered up until this point. However this state of “being” , so to speak, is far from fixed. What I see as “myself” is actually an everchanging picture of flucturating elements and conscious output, a picture which holds only a very conditional field of focus. ” I must be as I am”, for this is the way that I am seen. This is the way I see myself.
Couldn’t my view be somewhat tainted? Tainted by a habitual need to understand? After all, isn’t this mind conditioned by years of social interchange and subsequent programmed development? Am I not infected by all that I hvae learned in the past 26 years of struggle and growth.
With each new concept stumbled upon in my search for truth, another question is rendered. Ilong to exhaust this search for absolution but as each night shifts into day I fail to relinquish control and my journey continues. This torch of inquiry is passed from one spiritual awakening to another in absence of the knowledge from whence it came. Long forgotten are the questions which started this search for answers. None the less, I now move forward to accomplish its’ end. Whever end that may be, I do so without fear or contempt for the beliefs of others. Wisdom can be found in the strangest of places once one has learned what to look for. Even in the darkness, the light of emptiness abides. I have realized this blissful truth above all else, and now it is your turn.
An open mind and a heart filled with compassion will carry you in the right direction. Don’t be afraid of letting down the walls that you have built. In doing so you will open your mind to the possibility of learning from your heartache. Our past transgressions are purified by the suffereing in our lives, and each time we struggle, we grow.
We must endure that which our ignorance has caused. Such is the cycle of our lives. We must make mistakes to learn the lessons before us, the lessons, that in the end, will free us from this prison called existence. We must be strong, determined, and above all we must learn to let go of the pain, fear and anger that holds us back.
I have not reached that state of awakening, but I am following my heart. I trust that it is leading me in the right direction, and I trust that so will yours. May you all find joy, freedom, and peace along the way. Remember to be forgiving of others, because they know not what they do. Remember to have compassion for their situations, because they too are suffering. And rememeber that our journey may be endless, but it will not last forever.
Good luck!
Jeheshua
