Hands are suddenly a target to figure out how old you are– or how much damage your skin has had– because no matter what you have done for your facial skincare, most people didn’t look at their hands as a mirror of their age. (Remember my other post about the super-duper anti-aging hand products, Hand Perfection? This is the less-expensive level and slower in effectiveness product level)
Here’s a round-up of some less expensive products you can find at drugstores (CVS, Rite-Aid) , mass merchants like Target/Walmart/Kmart as well as amazon.com and other online beauty sites.
These are products that are great to take on vacation or buy several for faster, less expensive at-home manicures or as a part of a gift basket for Mother’s Day, graduation, bridal, birthdays or baby showers. Some would be/could be used by men too. With these products, I found that they are great to have around in the shower to do some general exfoliation to make hands and feet smoother, softer and look better in sandals.

Lamas Hand Scrub
Hand Spa Treatment Program
Scoop a small amount of scrub into palm of hand. Rub lightly over tops of hands for 10 seconds each to remove dull, dead skin cells. Rinse lightly (in other words don’t wash away all the great conditioning treatment on your hands). Pat dry.

From the amazing line of La Roche-Posay, known all over Europe as a go-to line for effective skincare is this very affordable and rich treatment for hands. It’s non-greasy and sinks in quickly and provides a water-resistant barrier and helps improve lipid balance. However be aware it’s got parabens in it too. $13.50 approximately.

Aqua(Water), Glycerin, Octyldodecanol, Stearic Acid, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Palmitic Acid, Steareth-10, Parrafinum Liquidum(Mineral Oil), Dimethicone, PVP/Eicosene Copolymer, Cetyl Alcohol, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Myristic Acid, Isobutylparaben, Triclosan, Methylparaben, Phenoxythanol, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Parfum(Fragrance).
From the supermarket or the drugstore, you can find this array of products from Freeman that will work miracles on your wallet as well as help out feet, hands, elbows and knees. There are four products I am aware of– but I know there are more, I just didn’t try them or see them>

These products are really affordable at less than $4 each. However be aware there are parabens in them. These are not organic but they do have botanicals.
