Want to get your holiday bargain shopping on? Guess what, it’s already started. It started last week– and today there will be deals online and in-stores for many big brands like GAP, JC Penney, Sears, sporting goods stores and other mass merchants. So check your local newspaper (YES– that paper!! Buy one today!!) to get the scoop on what’s cooking as well as checking online
However if you are sure you want to endure the run on the stores for the uber-bargains– here are some NECESSARY recommendations and apps for your smart phone or tablet. Please make sure you take either with you and a handbag big enough for a small bottle of water and a energy or cereal bar for nutrition. Also smart women wear athletic shoes or really good walking shoes. Flip flops don’t make it if it’s snowing and truly unless you are only buying fashion stuff, if you drop something (say a box with a blender in it) on your foot (or someone else steps on it)– the pain could be crippling!

FYI: Be KIND to the people who are working in the stores. REALLY!! It doesn’t matter how long you have waited, it’s not their fault. They are working and trying to get everyone in and out as fast as possible– plus they have to clean up the mess of sweaters, books or gifts that you piled up in search of the perfect gift. So smile, say thank you. Show GRATITUDE!!
If you happen to be exhausted just reading this, I have a different opportunity for you– and it’s WAY easier. You might have to stay up later or get up earlier, but it’s so much easier because you will be at home doing this. It’s called Cyber Monday only it won’t be Monday. I know that there will be lots of cyber deals all week this week straight through to next Monday 11/26. Don’t worry about them running out. Keep checking back because they will replenish online stock
ONE CAVEAT– not with smartphones will this apply. For smartphones, select tablets online, buy immediately– ASAP. Pull out that plastic and start typing.
How do I know? I already bought someone an iPhone and I got a seriously great price on it– and that was LAST WEEK! Be prepared to spend some serious time waiting to make sure you actually have the product.
Do look out for another post that features some great bargains from select brands that will be for Black Thurs/Friday and through the weekend.
