This is part 2 of the Red Carpet Style Critiques for Oscars 20113!! Note the new format– because it’s just plain faster. With luck we will have some interesting people who need a little style rehab! Thanks to Karen Starr Delloiacono for her assist in this!
Adele in Jenny Packham.
Karen Starr Delloiacono
I love it especially after that wreck she wore previously at the Grammys! She is staying true to herself and one can “hopefully” never go wrong with a classic black dress or gown. Her hair and makeup are flawless as usual and this new mother looks glowing and stunning!

Considering Adele just had a baby and is focusing only on her new family, I think she looks fabulous. The dress is perfection. She looks great. Her hair is gorgeous and her makeup and personal presence is amazing. She shows that size makes no difference on the red carpet and on stage when you do it with style and class.
Jennifer Hudson in Roberto Cavalli.
Karen Starr Delloiacono
Can you say with me OMG?! Absolutely fabuleux!!! Natural makeup and gorgeous locks of hair. That dress! Fits like it was specially made for her. She has the pose down pat and doesn’t have to try hard at all.
Stevie Wilson
Jennifer Hudson should have everyone flocking to Weight Watchers! Who wouldn’t want to have Jennifer Hudson’s look! She’s stunning hot in that dress and she works it. Her hair and make-up is amazing and I think she stands up perfectly equal to Beyonce!
Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen.
Karen Starr Delloiacono
She looks like such a starlet on the red carpet. New school Hollywood doing it right. This is how you wear a pattern. Subtle and not overpowering. It fits her great and the color looks very nice against her pale skin. Hair pulled back and very nice makeup. Would have liked to have seen her shoes. Maybe a bracelet would have completed it but I still love it.
Stevie Wilson
Talk about a dress that epitomizes Les Miserables– this is it! It’s the essence of that epochal time and yet with modern trimmings. Seyfriend fits it perfectly and the dress molds to her body and her posture is impeccable– even regal as she walks down the red carpet. This is the best I have seen her look that shows off femininity and a subtle sexiness that most women can’t pull off. Kudos!
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji.
Karen Starr Delloiacono
She looks stunning. The color of the dress is soft and looks gorgeous against her skin tone. Perfect hair and makeup. I love how it comes off her shoulder
Stevie Wilson
I love Octavia Spencer. She’s amazing! Fabulous in this gown, she’s another woman with curves who doesn’t hide them, but shows them off and she looks fabulous.
Talk about amazing style, fashion, jewelry, hairstyle– everything suits her perfectly.
