We return with Denise Kiernan for part 2 of the podcast about the New York Times, LA Times, NPR best seller (along with other retailers too), The Girls of Atomic City!
One of the things that drew me to this interview were the two segments she had done on Jon Stewart’s TV show. The interesting part is that he held her over for an additional segment because he liked the book.
They get deep in the book discussion and I was fascinated at how much one could learn about Kiernan and the book via these videos. However these videos are not embeddable. Actually you can embed them, but the video is an exclusive so it turns out despite embedding the video, you cannot see the video!
Here are the links to the Extended Interview.

A hundred thankyou’s to Denise Kiernan for bearing with the cross wires on meeting up. It was a busy day for you at the Festival of Authors.

women were fundamental to the allies success in the war. Particularly in the UK, people would have starved without the land girls and there would have been no ammunition.
I saw that Atomic Energy Lab at the PEZ museum. This lady is right up my alley…history brought to life!!!
She is one awesome writer. If you listen to the podcasts, you will hear more about the extent of her project. A studio has picked it up for multi-part series.
she and I wrote about similar time frames. her program that she swears by -Scrivner- (i think) is something I have to buy. it will make the editing on my thesis so much better/easier
