Fourth of July is not far off. Are you ready for your friends and family in the beverage department? Most likely not — because the food takes first place in this very important summer holiday. That said, I have a slew of drinks I have curated for you to select from are available via Foodie.com.

I selected my specific favorites and I will be using these cocktails and smoothies as jumping off points for new recipes for future posts! A few beverages might look familiar from the Mother’s Day Collection but I added more than 20 new cocktails, drinks that can include spirits or be sipped plain without loss of fun plus some great smoothies.

Here are a few of my favorites– but do check out the entire collection because at time this goes live there are 36 different recipes!
— All of the lemonades Whether the straight up, lemonade cocktails and the fruit + lemonade blasts that sound (and taste) so fun! Start with lemonade as a base and get creative!
— Blood Orange Margarita! In one word, YUM!
— Ginger Mint Gimlet is amazing with the sharp tang of ginger and the coolness of mint along with gin!
— Floats and Milkshakes like the Rum Ice Cream Float and the Salted Caramel Bailey’s Milkshake</strong> (add in a shot of Cognac or dark rum for a great flavor tweak)
— For those being “oh so good”, try the Key Lime Smoothie. While it will blow you away with rum or tequila, it’s amazing as it stands.
I have found at least 20 more cocktails and beverages that are simply amazing sips! Most are easy to do, some require a bit of advance planning– but you have time NOW to do the prep for your favorites. These are my suggestions for GREAT sips from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon! The celebrations will last all weekend. Why not make every day a celebration worth remembering!!

Ginger mint gimlet will make the list of new ideas, for sure. I do have some caramel Bailey’s on hand zoo, but it is too hot for anything creamy. That will be good in September.
