I love it when I get to do something with Foodie.com. It’s a fun way for me to show off things I like, and test out some new recipes. Also it helps me push the limit on various recipes to see what I can (and cannot) do with them. This is a sponsored post. While I work in partnership with Mode.com, all recipes are my choice and my choice alone!
For January, I chose the theme of “Cold Weather Beverages” and this is my twist on it. There are virgin drinks and drinks that are easily adaptive to spirits. If you like to cook or just like to eat, it’s worth visiting the site for amazing recipes for all kinds of foods!
My recipe curation for January is about Warm Drinks for Cold Weather or my version of that theme for recipe curation.

This citrus apple cider is on my list. I have tons of grapefruit and calamondin ripe and ready to go now. This is a combo I had not considered. YUM!
Pam.. you and Fiona are two of my key people that I try to target for these cocktails. You both are experimental and both understand the nature of spirits. I saw that recipe for citrus apple cider and was thrilled that it had such unusual flavor blends.
