Paleta is not a new brand to this site. I have been talking about Paleta and it’s great products (packaged & delivered meals and cold-pressed juices) for a few years. What I love about Paleta are the rich flavors and fabulous textures of the juices and foods that the brand presents.
For this holiday weekend, we have several cocktails to present that use the Paleta Potables– juice-based cocktail mixers!
AGAVE MARIA
SPICY SOUTHWESTERN
3-4 oz of the Agave Maria
1 oz blanco tequila over ice (Alacran would be lovely!)
Shake well and pour over ice
Sprinkle chopped cilantro on the top of the mix
Garnish with stuffed jalapenos.
MICHELEDA
Want a quick and easy version?
Savor a trip to Mexico by using this tomato-based mixer with an icy cold cerveza.
Blend 3-4 oz of this mix with
1 oz. Spiced Rum (Sailor Jerry is a terrific choice)
1 oz. Coconut Cream
Fresh pineapple (or frozen pineapple)
Ice
1 lime cut into quarters: 1 quarter to rim the glass, the other 3/4 lime
for the blender.
Pour all into a blender and let it run to thoroughly combine the flavors.
Put ice in a tall glass and pour blender contents into the glass
Include a skewer of pineapple chunks as garnish and 2 straws!
Summer Cosmo
Shake with ice, vanilla vodka (try Pinnacle Vanilla or Whipped Cream Vodka! )
Strain into a martini glass for a seasonal sweet and sour Cosmo.
Finish with a fresh squeeze of lime.
4 oz Prickly Pear Cosmo Elixir
1 oz vanilla vodka
splash of triple sec
squeeze of lime juice
Shake with crushed ice
Pour into martini glass
Garnish with orange peel or twist
Prickly Pear AKA Cactus Margarita — is a riff off the previous Prickly Pear recipe.
Add in a great silver tequila (Alacran is a great option)
1 oz. cranberry juice,
1 oz. orange liqueur (Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)
4 oz. parts Prickly Pear Elixir
Shake well with ice
Strain and pour into rocks glass filled with ice!
If you can’t find Paleta Potables near you, then these recipes (and more to come in future posts) will be waiting for you to get them so
that you can mix up these great cocktails!!

I did try one rhubarb cocktail this year, and want to taste others. This strawberry rhubarb daiquiri looks like a winner..they all look good. I like the natural ingredients.
