If you are just getting started on organizing closets and getting your fitness routine down, don’t worry! You aren’t late to the party. Better late than never to be solidly sure what changes you want to make. While fashion and color changes with the seasons, there are tweaks you can make to your closet and to your “look” that will give you a fresh presentation and perspective! Bridal expert, Jess Levin, founder of bridal website,CaratsandCake.com has some great tips and tricks!
The New Year is definitely here! Since February is next week, if you haven’t started working on ” new year, new you” looks, and it is time for us to start working on the new us! Whether your definition of a “new you” is getting a drastic haircut or adding more color into your wardrobe, make a change in 2016 that will benefit how you look and ,more importantly, how you feel by following Jess Levin’s, creator and founder of caratsandcake.com tips for obtaining the new you!
Accessorize Your Day
Leave the plain old looks in the past and focus on your bright and sparkly future by accessorizing your outfits. Whether your accessory of choice is a statement necklace or perhaps a felt hat, adding those final pieces to your outfit will instantly change the entire look of your day. Looking good=Feeling good so make sure to put it in the extra effort every morning!
Make a Drastic Change to Your Hair
Whether you feel like it is time to experience if blondes really do have more fun, or if you want to take a ride on the wild side with a sexy new bob, make that change in the beginning of the year! You will instantly feel more confident showing off your new do and that is exactly what we are going for in this new year!
Add a Pop of Color to Your Wardrobe
Instead of showcasing your infamous all-black look, add some color into your wardrobe along with your life! Not only will you always be caught following the hottest trends but you will be adding a little but more fun and bright color into your new life!
Wear Heels Throughout the Day
There is something about the feeling a woman gets when she slips her foot into a tall stiletto that makes us feel like a million bucks. Leave the flats at home and rock your hot heels all day long. Not only will you appear taller and thinner but you will instantly feel a lot better about yourself. Take your classy and intelligent look and rock it with you throughout the day.
Style Up to Work Out
Just because you will be sweating as you run on the treadmill, does not give you the excuse to throw on a shirt three sizes too big and leggings that are torn. Buy yourself some comfortable, form-fitting and stylish workout gear to make sure you always look your best. Besides, there is something about knowing you have to rip the tags off of something that gives you motivation to get up and move!

Thanks to CaratsandCake.com’s Jess Levin for these great style tips!! I already did some of the things she mentioned! I love what she suggests about pops of color (and if you know me, you know I LIVE by that suggestion). Smart, easy and relatively affordable!

I like the simplicity of the suggestions. An one would be a change of pace, but adding a few of these would make a whole new look.
