ZUGO’s Cafe & Restaurant Celebrates Re-Opening with a a New Menu Sat, 1/30. Special Hours!

Zugos is something of an institution for those who like good food and live in the greater Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley area. This restaurant is run by a trained chef with a great staff. After a small hiatus, Zugo’s Cafe, the longtime staple in Sierra Madre is celebrating their Grand Reopening Saturday, January 30th, with a fresh new look and menu from Chef Anthony Bar.
Grand Opening Hours – 11:30am – 10pm

With seasonal ingredients and local produce, Chef Anthony is looking to turn Zugo’s Cafe into a dining destination with items such as Steak Frites, Risotto and his signature Pork Chop. Stop by and enjoy their unique French and Italian menu item, sip a great glass of wine or pint and reinvigorate yourself close to home

Zugo’s will be adding a delicious portfolio of local craft beer as well as a wine list featuring premier California, French and Italian wines. Along with a Champagne brunch on weekends, Zugo’s will be offering parties of 10 or more that reserve a table Monday through Wednesday, a complimentary bottle of Champagne.

Below is a sample menu as Chef Anthony will be testing out new dishes and adding them to the menu periodically throughout the first few weeks.

This delightful restaurant is a MUST VISIT for those who are visiting the greater Pasadena area (and I will be talking to my friends in the area too about it). I have read the YELP reviews and one doesn’t usually see such positive things for a restaurant in trial menu tests. This means it’s REALLY good! Do visit soon! I plan to do so!
