LA’s Tam O’Shanter Restaurants Hosts Teeling Whiskey Pairing Dinner- 5/25! HURRY!
Here in LA, there is a distinct love affair going on among foodies and those who love spirits. Often, you find that foodies have a specific fondness for pairing dinners and today I am sharing one of the most interesting ones I have heard of lately. This one is going to be hosted at Tam O’Shanter restaurant in Los Feliz and the spirit is TEELING WHISKEY!! This true Irish Whiskey (made by a small indie Irish brand that was founded by 2 brothers in Ireland).
WHAT:
On Wednesday, May 25, Tam O’Shanter will host a very special dining event featuring a four-course meal created by executive chef Juan Escamilla with select whiskey pairings for each dish from the award-winning Teeling Whiskey Company. Teeling’s ambassador Aiden McNally will be on hand to talk about each pairing and the distillery’s history and craft.

The exceptional whiskey pairing dinner will include:
· First Course (head cheese & toast with Dijon mustard paired with a single malt);
· Second Course (melon salad with pork cracklins and chili pepper paired with small batch);
· Entrée Course (porchetta with summer squash and corn pudding paired with single grain); and
· Dessert (devils on horseback cake with bacon caramel and chantilly paired with traditional Irish Coffee) (It might include The Revival.. or not. There have to be some surprises. I am just guessing here, so don’t hold the Tam O’Shanter to this potential pairing)
