It’s time to get on board with Dia de Los Muertos! The other half of Halloween is actually the reason that Halloween occurs– the celebration of those who have passed on. Dia de Los Muertos is often signified by the Sugar Skull. Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday, celebrated on the 1st and 2nd November in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saint’s Day and All Hollow’s Day. The festivities start at midnight on October 31. Sugar skulls are often used to decorate the gravestones of the deceased.
