One promising indie-band got a a serious leg-up courtesy of a major car brand. Honda discovered Monsters Calling Home on Youtube to whom they gave the band a chance of a lifetime: to be featured on national television show and be famous! This is the story of an up-and-coming unsigned L.A. band named: Monsters Calling Home, who was very creative in shooting their music video “Fight to Keep” inside their Hondas. They had realized the acoustics in their vehicles were perfect for recording and Honda discovered the video on YouTube and thanked the band for their creativity by surprising them with a musical guest spot on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” recently!

AG might not be the most well-known as AG but you know her as part of The Rescues. You recently heard my interview with Kyler England (The Spare Key Sessions) as well as Rob and Gabe from The Rescues– and AG is the 4th part of that harmony known as an indie super-group that seemed to break out with their first joint record that even to a label to pick them up- only to circle back and ditch the label mentality/lifestyle because it was not fitting the group or individuals musical sensibilities. However you might know AG as Adrianne Gonzales or maybe not.
But this woman is more than just part of a super group– she’s a gifted singer/songwriter/musician PLUS photographer & artist as well as director. Multi-dimensional doesn’t begin to show off what’s going on inside the head and heart of AG.
