Nancy Lichtenstein brings you the break-down of MAC Cosmetics for Doo Ri for NYFW Fall 2010.
A lot of the makeup looks at New York Fashion Week were overly serious, but the one Tom Pecheux of MAC created for Doo.Ri had a little fun to it. This look was inspired by a futuristic version of glam rock (think David Bowie and the New York Dolls) and is perfect for clubbing:
Tom first applied Face and Body Foundation over the face, eyelids and neck to create a matte canvas with light coverage. The cheeks were slightly contoured using Sculpting Powder in Shadowy and the whole look was set with translucent powder.
The eyes have a tiny bit of sparkle to them thanks to iridescent powder in Silver Dusk, but the real focus is the lip, where he lined around the edges with Lip Pencil in cherry, covered the entire lip in Ruby Woo matte lipstick, and then applied a mixture of MAC Pro Glitter in Turquoise and 3D Silver with a wet brush.
If you’re going out at night and want the look to last longer than a 15 minute runway show, set the glitter with Dazzleglass and add a further dimension.
