Have you ever heard of a grazing table? If you are from “down under”, it’s likely you have heard of a grazing table. It’s the Aussie version of something that we call a buffet table for a party. However, the way a grazing table is presented is rather different than in the US. One of the best experts in creating grazing tables is Mr. T’s Bakery!
“A grazing table is an array of flavors, texture, and taste that features the high quality of ingredients that compliments one dish to another. It’s an extensive work of art.”|
Mr. T’s Bakery!
According to Mr. T’s Bakery in Australia, the grazing table has no chafing dishes or any warm foods. It’s all about finger foods and easily handled at “room temperature”. Food choices are pretty much up to you:
You can have a variety of finger foods depending on your budget as you can go for cured meats, cheeses or fruits, bread, dips, nuts, sweet goodies, crackers or biscuits, bite-sized sandwiches, sushi, fruits and nuts and just about all finger foods that you can think of.
Here’s an image from Mr. T’s Bakery that shows off the array of foods you could feature on a grazing table!
This photo is from the Mr. T’s Bakery Catering Department.
As you can tell the array of foods on this table is quite broad from sweets like pastries, cupcakes, cookies as well as sandwiches and wraps.
The array of cakes for birthday parties or to have a cake the celebrates the time of year at Mr. T’s Bakery is astounding. I am showing you 3 of them here.
Lion Face Cake
Red and pink cake with Unicorn horn
Captain America Cake
Here’s how you can set up a grazing table and you can do it for birthday parties, for other celebrations or just a gathering of friends and/or family!
