I have never gotten orchids as a gift before. A Westerlay representative offered to send me an orchid. I said yes, thinking that I would get a singular plant. I had heard Westerlay had an amazing collection of flowers to choose from so I let them send what they wanted to send.
I figured I would get one plant that would be sufficient for me to feature in this post and I would photograph it.
About a week ago, I arrived home from a couple of appointments and my husband told me I had a surprise. He started bringing in plant after plant, arranging it on the dining room table. FOUR planter bowls (like the white ones you see above) were on the table with an incredible collection of gorgeous orchids. I was shocked at the generosity of the shipment. It was far more than I had anticipated.

I was offered what I thought would be 1 orchid so that I could review the quality of the Westerlay orchids. The only way I could accurately talk about the quality of the Westerlay Orchids was to get one so that I could examine the plant and photograph it. I was overwhelmed when I saw four gorgeous plants. The point is that because I got these orchids, I am able to show you photos and also tell you about the quality and longevity. The orchids enabled me to tell you about the quality of the Westerlay orchids as well as show you the orchids in images.
If I hadn’t received an orchid for me to check out, my coverage of the Westerlay Orchids would have been vague and superficial. I figured I would get a small orchid because they offered to send me one. Seeing the 4 planters of orchids was beyond my expectations. The bonus of getting these orchids meant that I could tell you and show you via photographs just how incredibly beautiful these flowers are!
