Beet Margarita
Ingredients:
1 oz. fresh lime juice
2 oz. of Blanco tequila ( My recommendation is that you go with Alacran Tequila. It doesn’t get much better than this brand.)
1/4 of Red Ace Organics Beet Performance or add 1 teaspoon of 100% Beet Juice Powder
1/2 oz. of Agave Nectar
1 lime wheel
1 lemon wheel
2 ice cubes
Garnish– a rosemary sprig.
Instructions:
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
Shake the ingredients for about 30 seconds.
Add the ice to a glass and pour the drink over the ice.
Add in 1 lemon ad 1 lime wheel,
Add a colorful garnish sprig of rosemary.
For another amazing cocktail to make, try a savory mezcal spritz.
Savory Mezcal Spritz by Sara Lehman, chef and sommelier
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Mezcal such as Kimo Sabe
1/2 oz. Red Ace Organics Beet Performance
1/4 oz. Lime Juice
1/4 oz. Honey Syrup
6 oz Lime Seltzer
Instructions:
In a shaker, combine the Red Ace Organics Beet Performance shot, lime juice, honey syrup, and mezcal.
Shake with ice until well chilled. Strain into a Collins glass, or a large wine glass with ice.
Top with seltzer and a sprig of rosemary for a garnish.
