This article is about another change (or advancement) in crafted cocktails available in individual packages. While I have tried most of the canned cocktail brands, some of the brands deliver a medium-quality cocktail. Some brands lack the ability to make a decent cocktail. It gets a bit disappointing when you buy a couple of cans and find out that you don’t like the cocktail. The experience of canned or “portable” cocktails should be an experience where you are pleasantly surprised at the flavor profile and ultimately makes you willing to buy more cocktails of that brand.
Recently I was introduced to a different presentation of a “cocktail to go”. “buzzbox” (yes, the brand’s name is in lower case), has surprised me with a cocktail product that is not only portable but has a “sustainable” packaging. What’s more important is the quality of the cocktail … and how fabulous it is. (And my use of the term “fabulous” is not hyperbolic! It’s the truth.)
This article features my review of buzzbox cocktails and the other part is the background information provided by buzzbox!

Review of buzzbox cocktails!
I got this rather substantial box filled with an array of cocktails (8 different flavors!) I approached these cocktails as I did every other canned cocktail I have had in the last few years. (There have been several canned brands who have sent me products to review). I opened up the box (in the photo below) and saw that there were 8 different flavors in these tiny containers (200ML).
The boxed cocktails aren’t very big, but huge cans don’t always mean a great cocktail. The packaging shown in the photo is really easy to open. Shake up the container for at least about 30 seconds. There’s a small straw that can pierce the plastic cover so you can sip the cocktail immediately or you can pour it into a glass. It’s super easy to open and the sustainable packaging is eco-friendly. I was very surprised to open a box using the straw and found that the cocktail was fabulous! Wow!! The flavors are really rich and is very tasty. My first cocktails were:
Vodka Lemonade (lemonade with a great vodka); Classic Grayhound (my favorite at this point.. and it was terrific), Classic Cosmo (which is surprisingly tasty. I liked this one a lot!

and a new flavor addition: Hurricane – which is 2 types of rum (light and dark) blended with pineapple and passionfruit juices.

- Small CO2 Footprint – buzzbox Tetra Pack cartons use 54% less energy, create 80% fewer greenhouse gases, produce 60% less solid waste volume, and have 92% less package weight. In addition, buzzbox packaging is Bisphenol-A (BPA) free.
- Recyclable – buzzbox packaging can be easily flattened for space-efficient recycling, which is especially important to our retail partners and event venues.
