Master Celebrity Hairstylist Robert Vetica styled the hair of Tár Best Actress nominee Cate Blanchett,
for the 95th Annual Academy Awards red carpet, using products from Better Not Younger.
Tonight, the Master coiffed the Maestro!!!

The look came together like a symphony. The archival Louis Vuitton dress, in stunning turquoise color with broad shoulders, called for an equally timeless hairstyle: “an effortless chic textured updo,” says Vetica.

–To create the look, Vetica sprayed the Better Not Younger Lift Me Up Hair Thickener onto Cate’s roots, and blew it dry with a round brush to smooth the strands and create lift at the root.
–He then misted her hair with the Better Not Younger No Remorse Heat Protection & Taming Spray and, with a ¾” curling iron, created big-barrel curls all over at the root, directing
them away from her face, and then brushed out the curls.
— Vetica then went in for the detail work, taking one small section of hair at a time and misting it with Better Not Younger Wake Up Call High Hold Thickening Hairspray.
–He used his fingers and a diffuser to mold each section, creating a gorgeous, natural-looking texture.
–He gathered Cate’s hair in the back into one, “big fat braid,” spraying it with the Better Not Younger hairspray as he braided to keep it connected, then pinned the braid underneath.
—The result: a texure masterpiece.
