This film is something entirely outside the usual box of summer movie fare, it’s available on DVD and on Blu-Ray.
Here’s the synopsis of this more than gritty film. It’s tricky in the plot twists and it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you aren’t the “tea” drinking kind but more of a hard whiskey or scotch kind of person– this movie might be perfect for you!
The last thing washed-up jazz musician Nate Pool (Academy Award®-nominee Mickey Rourke, The Wrestler) wanted to do was betray sinister gangster Happy Shannon (Academy-Award®-nominee Bill Murray, Lost in Translation). But it may be the last thing he does unless he can deliver Lily (Megan Fox, Transformers), a beautiful and mysterious carnival sideshow attraction. The stakes can’t get any higher for the two lovers as they try to elude the merciless killer who will stop at nothing to keep Lily for himself. Definitely worth checking out on Blu-Ray and DVD. It’s really pushing the envelope– though the reviews are mixed. It’s definitely out there on the edge of noir!
