The KROQ Weenie Roast, was amazing. Here’s some commentary from KROQ on scenes and screams that I missed either by being in the Gift Lounge or heading out to return home -though I could have stayed longer.
backstage was packed with VIPs, rock stars, babes, and weiners. (You know it’s a good night when you spot at least 2 midgets, a beauty queen, Dave Grohl, and a Stroke, and that was just in the VIP gifting lounge!)
Some highlights:
Young the Giant snagging food at catering before the first set of the day.
Paramore’s Hayley Williams wandering leisurely backstage, taking autographs and talking to KROQ’s Styker.
Adam Carolla & Miss Double December chilling out by the artist area
Foster the People hanging with gal pals
The Strokes getting feisty in their trailer before their set
Dave Grohl could be seen spending quality family time with his family, and watching the Strokes while holding his ridiculously cute daughter.

Here’s what else was going on in the gifting lounge!
Incipio
Incipio — with colorful iPhone and iPad covers — were there and they were really helpful. They cater to a broader market than just iPhone (thank you!) and have things for Android phones.
I am liking a lot of what they had. DEFINITELY worth looking at .. and they were having musicians sign a couple of covers.
Moonshine 100% Corn Whiskey
Next up was some liquid refreshment at the bar– featuring Moonshine cocktails. This genuine 100% corn whiskey has serious kick and works well enough with Red Bull and also as a great mix for Shine Punch– a punch cocktail with lemon juice, orange juice and muddled blackberries to make a nifty — not too sweet– cocktail. Cheers!!
As you can see, some people were really happy with Moonshine!
