Celebrities Reviewed : Angelina Jolie vs Kate Winslet
Kate Winslet

COLOR:
What a wonderful colour for her – it underlines her presence and gives her a sophisticated look.
BODYSHAPE:
The dress is super perfect for her. She is an hourglass and the body hugging number is playing up to her beautiful female curves. It sits like a second skin. The shoulder detail gives not only way to her long neck and provides a wonderful frame for her plunging neckline but also adds authority to her look Her neckline is just perfect- feminine, sexy and appropriate without looking loud or tacky. The tight Empire line is not only showing off her long waist, supporting her bust line and also exposes her curved hips- all in all it creates a fantastic silhouette. The separation in her leg line works on her tall frame and the integrated flared hemline gives her compfort and leg room to assure that she can walk down the red carpet and in front of the cameras with grace and beauty. Many times designers forget that actresses do not only pose but need to walk as well.
STYLE:
I like her pulled back relaxed hair style, but I have some reservation with her earrings, which do not match ideally with this look.
Overall Rating: 5***** Five Stars
(Her dress is too perfect on her to be spoiled by her choice of earrings)

Angelina Jolie

COLOR:
This blue colour is too muted for her even if the dress is soft and floaty and she keeps a soft hair style- it still washing her out. The color is not her. It is draining her not only because it is wrong for her coloring, but also it doesn’t go with her personality. It lacks dynamic.
BODYSHAPE:
Not many women can pull off this type of dress. You need to have a long thin neck, long arms, long décolleté line, long waist, being tall in our height and have the right size of bust- not to small not too big.
The boat neck gives her nice shoulder line and the perfect frame for the draping sleeve shape. The top of the dress sits relaxed over her bust and is tighter at the waist without adding weight or adding bulk to her silhouette. Though the leg line is straight in front it goes out in the back and balances therefore nicely with the wider top of her dress.
STYLE:
Angelina likes to wear a relaxed, easy and comfortable look- known to be easy with jewelry — which turns into a glamorous look due to her beauty. However here it doesn’t work. She is right in wearing a relaxed hairstyle, but this hairstyle is the wrong choice for this style of dress.
It makes her look quite mumsy- a very matron look. She should have kept her hair open wavy with big chunky orange or emerald green jewels – it would have deepened the color near her face. Her hair needed a gloss and/or shine to reflect on her face. Had she added vibrant colour to her look, making use of interesting chunky jewels in colour blocks would have made the look as well more current and brought all to life. S
Unfortunately, her look comes across quite tired and almost lifeless which is a sin for such a beauty.

Overall Rating
: 3*** Three Stars
