Legendary French film actress Catherine Deneuve, no stranger to the house of Van Cleef & Arpels, chose several gorge ruby pieces to compliment her gown. She selected jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels’s Private Collection:
a 1929 Tassel bracelet in rubies and diamonds (totaling 15.26 carats and 32 carats respectively) and formerly part of the Duke of Westminster collection, purchased back in 1930 and
a 1959 Ruban bracelet in the Company’s iconic Mystery ruby setting with diamond clasp.
Ms. Deneuve also wore Foret Mystery setting ruby and baguette diamond earrings (470 working hours to craft). She was dazzling in all these gems. Yum!
Anne Hathaway took her fashion quotient up a couple of notches with this amazing black and white Valentino lace gown. Hathaway selected several Van Cleef & Arpels pieces including:
