Winding up the weekend can be so stressful- and even more so if you are dealing with holiday shopping, cooking, and other related tasks! Take a deep breath, mix yourself up one well-crafted cocktail and slowly sip it for the rest of the evening. Below are 2 great cocktails from 2 different brands of spirits– and both cocktails are exquisite. If you whip either – or both- of them up, you should use your mobile, tablet or computer to learn more about each brand because they have impeccable credentials and the spirits to match those credentials!

Hardy has a substantial range of spirits:

Cocktail:
Hardy Sazerac
Ingredients:
1/4 oz. Absinthe
.5 oz. vanilla simple or one sugar cube
3/4oz Hardy VS Cognac
2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
dash of lemon oil (or lemon zest for garnish)
Method:
Fill a rocks glass with some ice,
Fill a shaker full of ice.
Pour the Absinthe, vanilla or sugar cube, cognac and bitters into the shaker.
(If you are using a sugar cube stir the cube into the liquids to get it soft before shaking it)
Put the lid on the shaker and shake for a good 45 seconds,
Strain the shaker’s contents into the rocks glass.
Add the dash of lemon oil and/or lemon zest as the garnish/

Niemeroff Cranberry Kiev Mule
INGREDIENTS
- 1 part Nemiroff Original Vodka
- 1 part cranberry juice cocktail
- 2 parts ginger beer
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Orange wedges, fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pour vodka, cranberry juice cocktail, beer and lime juice in a copper mug filled with ice.
- Gently stir to combine
- Garnish with lime wedges, fresh cranberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary
These sound like such great spirits and wonderfully tasty cocktails. While you might not have the time to get this mixed up tonight, you should definitely do it this week!
