Today is that magical day of family, friends, presents being unwrapped along with endless quantities of coffee plus a few cocktails.
Here are three cocktails that are insanely great- and are sure to make anyone happy.
Somrus is a spirit from India. It’s one of those magical spirits that starts out slow but unfolds once it hits your tastebud. This “mouth party” features cardamom, rose, pistachios, almonds and saffron. This is a mouCrazy great, the silky texture will make this spirit a must have for you and your friends!
Four Roses Bourbon– Small Batch : It’s a winner!
Appleton Reserve Jamaican Rum: a rum from the heart of Jamaica that will change your feelings about any rum that you used to drink!
Each of these recipes was chosen because of the unique flavor mix of each cocktail. They are very diverse!
PRONE TIGER
Ingredients:
• 2oz Somrus
• 1.5oz Aged Rum (Try this brand: Wiggly Bridge Small Barrel Gold Rum or try the Appleton Reserve Jamaican Rum below)
• 1oz Espresso
• 1oz Amaretto
• Garnished with cinnamon stick or raspberries
• Served in rocks glass
Method:
Add all ingredients to shaker and shake with ice.
Strain into a chilled rocks glass and garnish with cinnamon stick stirrer.
The Apple Claus

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Four Roses Bourbon Small Batch
3/4 oz Apple Cinnamon Tea syrup ( the recipe is linked)
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
Dash of angostura bitters
Method:
Shake and strain into a chilled coupe and top with sparkling wine (prosecco, champagne or Apple Cider.)
Garnish with an orange twist or apple slice.
Cornucopia
Ingredients:
• 1.25 oz Ardbeg 10-Year (Scotch)
• .5 oz Appleton Reserve Jamaican Rum
• .5 oz Ruby Port
• .5 oz pomegranate syrup
• .25 oz Creme de Violette
• .25 oz lemon juice
• 2 blackberries
• a small handful of fresh thyme
• dried pomegranate
Method:
Muddle blackberries and thyme in mixing pitcher.
Combine and stir the rest of the ingredients.
Strain into rocks glass on one iceberg-shaped cube.
Garnish with dried pomegranate and thyme.
