Reese Witherspoon Gets Glam for the 77th Golden Globes!

“Reese was wearing a gorgeous, white custom Roland Mouret, so we wanted the look to be the same: sleek and powerful,” Deenihan says of the makeup. “The makeup is a classic smoky eye with a hint of bronze to complement her eye color.”

To bring drama to the lash line, Deenihan relied on Lashify, the luxury lash extension system. “The fluffy lashes add a bit of playfulness,” she notes. On the inner corners of Reese’s eyes, she applied Lashify Gossamer Lashes in A8 to amplify the natural lashes. The delicate, wispy Gossamers provide a flattering and realistic look.
Creating a doe-eyed look was easy when using the soft, fluffy F series of Lashify Gossamer Lashes. On the outer two-thirds of the lash line, Deenihan applied Lashify Gossamer Lashes in F10 for fullness, then stacked the longer Lashify Gossamer Lashes in F12 over the very outer corners. “This added a slight lift to the corners of the eye,” Kelsey says.

Presenter Kate McKinnon’s Prabal Gurung sequined black suit set the tone for her rock ’n’ roll gunmetal eye look.
“It’s a sultry, smoky eye with silver sparkles in it that are complemented by the perfect lashes,” says celebrity makeup artist Cassandra Garcia.
To add fullness and length to McKinnon’s natural lashes, Garcia used both the Lashify 12mm natural-style “A” Gossamers and 14mm dense and intense “B” Gossamers. To accentuate the smoldering eye, she applied the longer B14 lashes to the outer corners of McKinnon’s eyes and kept the medium-length A12s concentrated in the middle and inner corners.
“They’re really whisp-y and kind of taper at the ends, so it really does give the illusion of your natural lashes, just better,” says Garcia. She loved using Lashify lashes for McKinnon’s look because of how thin the base is. “They’re totally invisible to the eye, and it also gave me more room to get that smoldering look on the rest of the lid.”

Without the lashes, Garcia says McKinnon’s eye look may have felt like it was missing something.
“Lashes really complement a look, and a lot of times when you do a smoky eye, you kind of lose the lashes because of the darker shadow, so giving a little bit more length and volume to get that beautiful fluttery-ness is so important.”

Celebrity makeup artist Kate Synnott used Lashify products to create a new take on Old Hollywood glamour for Best Actress in a TV Series (Drama) nominee Nicole Kidman.

“Nicole wore an amazing structured Versace gown,” Synnott says. “The dress was very Old Hollywood glamour, but that era isn’t her hair or makeup style, so we decided to do a modern take with lots of lashes and a red lip.”
To bring focus to Nicole’s eyes, Synnott used Lashify, the luxury lash extension system. “First, I used Gossamer Lashes in A12, the medium length, along the top lash line,” she says.

At the outer corners of the lashes, she placed three B14 lashes for fullness and volume. Before and after applying each Gossamer Lash, she swiped Whisper Light Single-Sided Bond to seamlessly blend the natural lashes with the Gossamer Lashes.
“This was my first time using Lashify, and I have to say, the lashes are absolutely amazing,” Synnott says. “I cannot get over how realistic they look—and so lightweight. I’m obsessed.”
