I like frozen treats. I am a sucker for ice cream, but try to avoid it because of all the rich ingredients (sugar and other ingredients). Recently I learned about a brand of frozen treats that is healthier and actually tastes so much better than my most recent forays into the ice cream world.
Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars are the “real deal” made with Greek yogurt and authentic flavors. The range of flavors is terrific and it’s a healthy treat for virtually anyone. The brand is available at lots of stores including big box stores like Costco!

Review:
I got a couple of boxes of the Mint Chocolate Chip Greek Yogurt Bars. I was really interested in trying them once I read about the YASSO story. It was quite intriguing. Because most of the ice cream flavors and brands I had tried recently were really deficient in texture and/or taste, I was ready to try the Yasso bars, but was also skeptical that I would really like them.
I happen to like Mint Chocolate Chip flavor and it used to be a favorite of mine when I was a kid. So I knew that at least that part, would be ok.
When I first bit into the frozen yogurt bar, I was pleasantly surprised that the mint flavor was pronounced but also because the chips were very much a part of the bar. It tasted creamy and delicious and before I knew it, I had eaten almost the entire bar. Wow!
The frozen yogurt bar had a texture that was very rich and creamy despite being a healthy brand. I really liked this one and want to try more flavors but I also want to keep a box of this Mint Chocolate Chip (which isn’t always available ) in my freezer. About a week after I tried my first bar, I had a second bar and I found that I really liked this brand more than I realized. The texture of the frozen yogurt bar is very rich and creamy and the flavor of the bar came through really well. I am obsessed with trying more flavors of the Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt bars!
My next thought was to find out where I could buy this brand. I wasn’t sure I had seen the brand at the local supermarkets that I use along with my favorite big box store, Costco.
Turns out in my comparison shopping is that the supermarkets have 4 packs of these fabulous frozen yogurt bars, but Costco sells Yasso Frozen Yogurt Bars with more bars in their boxes. (What a deal that is!!). That will make me visit my Costco more often. During late spring and summer, I want the Yasso Frozen Yogurt Bars in my freezer in at least 2-3 flavors.
