While this piece is a bit late in the game, the details about Nicole Kidman’s hairstyle for the 27th SAG Awards is worth the read. Celebrity Hairstylist Kylee Heath put together a step-by-step breakdown for you to be able to replicate Kidman’s gorgeous hairstyle! I wanted to share not only the breakdown but also all the products and tools mentioned. It just took me a bit to collect photos and information!
The fun part about various awards events is that the celebrities are all dressed up and many are absolutely fabulous. The 2021 SAG Awards were pretty amazing considering the Pandemic issues. But the people who were able to participate looked fabulous. I particularly liked Nicole Kidman’s dress as well as her makeup and hair! She looked FABULOUS!!

Celebrity Hair Stylist, Kylee Heath Shares the Breakdown
of Nicole Kidman’s Gorgeous Hairstyle for 2021 SAG Awards!

INSPIRATION:
“For Nicole’s look tonight, we were inspired by the beauty of her beaded Armani dress. We wanted her hair to be pretty and easy so that it complimented the dress and gave it its moment.”
TIPS/TECHNIQUES:
–Starting on damp hair, I applied Philip B. Weightless Conditioning Water and Russian Imperial Mousse to prep Nicole’s strands and to add shine.
–I then used the Olivia Garden Divine Wet Detangler Brush to brush the product through from root to tip.
–I then blew out the hair using the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Professional Hair Dryer
and the Olivia Garden ESSENTIALS Styling Round Smoothing Brush to add volume.
-Once Nicole’s hair was completely dry, I began to smooth strands using the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Flat Iron leaving out the very front pieces.

–Next, I applied the Phillip B. Anti-Frizz Formula to add extra softness and silk.
–I then gathered Nicole’s hair to the right and broke it up into two sections for a fishtail braid.
–Once Nicole’s hair was braided, I curled her face-framing pieces using the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Flat Iron.
–To ensure hold and add extra shine, I used Phillip B. Anti-Frizz Formula.

–Next, I spritzed a generous amount of the Jet Precision Control Hairspray (Phillip B.)to tame any unwanted frizz and flyaways.
–Since we wanted the look to be effortless, I finished by pulling the braid gently apart and spraying a small amount of hairspray in it to make it look worn-in.
